FIELD: devices for thermal treatment of ferrous and nonferrous metals, particularly, annealing of rolled coils in bell-type furnaces. SUBSTANCE: convector ring for annealing of metal coils has disc with central hole and supporting ribs forming circulating channels from ring periphery to central hole. Diameter of central hole equals to 0.35-0.40 of inner diameter of annealed coil. Length of supporting ribs on side of central hole is limited by circumference of diameters of 0.92-0.96 of inner diameter of annealed coil. Convector ring is installed under upper coil. EFFECT: higher efficiency of bell-type furnaces, reduced consumption of energy carriers, higher stability of convector rings. 3 dwg
