FIELD: process for annealing stack of coils of cold rolled strip steel.
SUBSTANCE: convector ring includes disc with central opening made of several members and supporting radial ribs forming circulation ducts. Members forming disc have temperature slits whose length consists 0.4 - 0.6 of difference of outer and inner radiuses of disc and whose total width consists 0.06 - 0.07 of outer radius of disc. Radial ribs are made of steel with carbon content more than 0.4% and they have chamfer or rounding on edges of their supporting faces. Temperature slits have in their bases openings with diameter consisting of 1.2 - 3.0 of slit width.
EFFECT: lowered number of fused together coil turns, decreased cost price for making convector rings with improved operational strength.
