FIELD: individual safety equipment. SUBSTANCE: strip is woven in the form of sleeve having upper and lower layers of fabric. In case loading is applied to belt, total rupture loading of base fibers, which take up total tensile force of belt, in mid portions of both layers of belt strip occupying area almost equal to width of common safety belt corresponds to loading of base fibers of commonly used safety belt. Base fibers, which do not take up substantial tensile force of safety belt and which are arranged in outer regions adjoining to mid regions, and safety belt weft fibers are substantially thinner than base fibers in mid portions. Outer portions of fabric adjoining to mid portions are creased with folded parts running around outer edges extending in parallel with belt longitudinal direction so that fabric is located between mid portions of upper and lower fabric layers. Mid portions of upper and lower layers adjoining to edges of creases are detachably connected with one another.
