FIELD: fishery. SUBSTANCE: floating cord has woven enclosure composed of two fabric layers connected along conventional seams. Each of fabric layers is formed by weaving warp threads, which are extending parallel to longitudinal axis of floating member, with weft thread, which is drawn from one fabric to another fabric. Such construction provides strong non-stretchable and non-twisting cord with increased floatability, which may be used in fishing tackle, floating members of ship equipment or in floating rescue vessels.
