HOSE FABRIC FOR REINFORCEMENT OF ENDLESS TRANSMISSION BELTS Russian patent published in 2014 - IPC D03D1/00

Abstract RU 2525813 C1

FIELD: textiles, paper.

SUBSTANCE: new hose fabric for reinforcement of endless transmission belts is proposed, comprising two layers of identical fabric webs located in parallel one above the other, made with translucent interlacing of warp and weft yarns and interconnected along the edges with weft yarns that alternately interweave with the warp yarns of the woven fabric of each layer and pass from one web to another, forming edge creases in their places of transition. The translucent weaving of each layer forming the hose fabric has a reduced four-yarn rapport on weft, and gaps in the fabric are located between the rectangular fabric elements of identical size spaced apart at a distance of from 1 mm to 3, each of which comprises semi-rapport on warp 3 yarns and complete rapport on weft 4 yarns. The transverse gaps of the cells of leno are formed between the first and fourth wefts of each rapport in the area of forming by warp and weft yarns of one fragment of a web weave. The proposed fabric is made from chemical yarns, mainly polyamide on shuttleless looms with embedded edges. The pilot production plant of JSC "Research institute of technical fabrics" (Yaroslavl) mastered serial production of the proposed hose fabric of series TPBR with semiperimeter width from 110 to 185 cm, of which the LLC "LOYD M"(Tver) manufactures endless belts with widths of 50 to 200 mm which are used in processing and defeathering of dead poultry at more than 120 enterprises in Russia and Belarus.

EFFECT: imparting the safety function from unravelling and subsequent failure, the proposed fabric with embedded edge creases can be made on shuttleless loom equipped with eccentric shedding mechanism with rapport on weft equal to 8 threads.
