FIELD: mechanical engineering; balancing rotors of small-sized aircraft engines. SUBSTANCE: rotor balancing unit includes balancing weights and circular bead with circular groove. Circular bead is provided with equidistant radial slots located over circle intersecting circular groove; shape of their surfaces corresponds to shape of weights which are made in form of figures of simple geometric shape (cylinders, balls, plates, etc.) with transversal hole. Weights are received by radial slots of bead and are locked by flexible wire ring passed through transversal hole of each weight and located in circular groove. EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced labor consumption; reusable weights. 5 dwg
