FIELD: liquid aeration units; microbiological and other industries. SUBSTANCE: device has horizontal collector with air supply pipe and bubbling tubes which are connected to this collector and are blanked off at the ends; these tubes are provided with passages for admitting air to liquid. Each tube has slots made diametrically opposite over its length in horizontal plane where plate insert is located. Peripheral parts of this insert are corrugated. Passages admitting air to liquid are formed by corrugations of said insert and edges of slots whose height is equal to height of corrugations. Corrugations may have different form in section, mainly form of triangle. Corrugations of each insert are located in parallel or in pairs forming passages narrowing in way of slots. EFFECT: increased degree of dispersion of gas-and- liquid mixture; enhanced mass-exchange process between air and liquid. 4 cl, 6 dwg
