FIELD: manufacture of rolled products. SUBSTANCE: method involves heating slabs to temperature of 1.100-1.250 C and holding for 3-5 h; providing multiple-pass rough rolling at total reduction of at least 80% and final temperature of 1.020-1.090 C, multiple-pass final rolling at total reduction of at least 70% and final temperature of 820-870 C; cooling strips with water to temperature of 550-620 C and winding strips into roll. Method is used for rolling strips of low-alloy steels on continuous wide-strip mill. EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision for stable mechanical properties and increased yield. 2 tbl, 1 ex
