FIELD: construction material industry. SUBSTANCE: wallpaper has flat and at least partially flexible base formed as nonwoven fabric of fiber glass having thickness of from 0.05 to 3 mm and air-impermeability of 500-4500 l/sq. m, and flexible layer of cured covering mass. Covering layer in uncured state is dispersion of synthetic polymers with mineral fillers, which comprises: 40-95 wt.% of mineral substances and 5-60 wt.% of synthetic polymer dispersion, with the latter comprising less than 60 wt.% of water or other liquid component. Method involves applying said dispersion onto one flat side of nonwoven material at spreading rate of 100-350 mm. Depending on progressive motion speed of fabric, solution at least partially penetrates into air-permeable pores of fabric. Cured solution forms flexible layer of solution and solution penetrated into pores forms impregnation layer. Method further involves winding wallpaper into roll. Wallpaper may be cut lengthwise or crosswise and glued to wall. Wallpaper may be used for covering walls and ceilings due to good winding into roll and due to availability of flexible layer of soft synthetic material with mineral fillers. EFFECT: increased efficiency and wider operational capabilities. 16 cl, 6 dwg
