FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: solid propellant charge for rocket engine consists of series-mounted grains with metal reinforcement member placed in arch. Reinforcement member in each propellant grain is made of high porosity material of three-dimensional structure of different thermal conductivity, for instance, copper, nickel, and is filled up with propellant of one type. Invention makes it possible to form solid propellant charge with multiple step control of engine thrust.
