FIELD: bistatic radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: technical result of invention lies in determination of unambiguous direction on target in bistatic radars with potential of independent operation of equipment on reception position. To achieve above-mentioned result there is used radar method determining direction on target, taken as prototype and based on reception of sounding signal of transmitting post and signal of secondary radiation of target by means of phased array of receiving post of bistatic radar. Method is realized by isolation of interference signal of beats of Doppler frequency from them, by two- dimensional discrete Fourier transform and determination of direction on target by comparison of amplitudes of signals of beats with same frequency in different spatial channels. There are conducted amplitude detection to isolate signals of beats of Doppler frequency in channels of phased array of receiving post and intersurvey signal processing after two-dimensional discrete Fourier transform consisting in determination of sign of rate of change of modulus of Doppler frequency to clear ambiguity of sign of angular direction on target emerging in the course of amplitude detection.
