FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing carcass for hotbed or greenhouse from hollow plastic longitudinal and transverse pipes; heating portion of longitudinal pipe at point of formation of connection member at carcass end to plastic state; making cuts at diametrically opposite sides of pipe in the vicinity of said portion; inserting mandrel into said cuts; holding mandrel in pipe till hardening of pipe material; squeezing cut ends at the outside by means of squeezing device; withdrawing mandrel from opening of connection member. Connection member for hotbed or greenhouse formed is as T-joint positioned at longitudinal and transverse junction point and is made integral with longitudinal pipe, which is equipped with opening formed by means of mandrel inserted into cuts, with opening having diameter equal to diameter of transverse pipe. Connection member has outer projections and slot, which are formed upon withdrawal of mandrel and squeezing of cut ends of longitudinal pipe. Diameter of mandrel is at least equal to diameter of transverse pipe. Length of cut for insertion of mandrel exceeds diameter of transverse pipe by 1.5 times. Arced members are mounted on supports, which are buried into ground. EFFECT: improved strength and rigidity and increased service life of hotbed or greenhouse. 3 cl, 4 dwg
