FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making incision in conjunctiva arranged concentrically with respect to limb. Sclera is cut to 2/3 of its thickness in the superior half of the eyeball. Scleral tunnel exiting into the cornea is built with anterior chamber being opened. Corneal paracentesis is carried out in 2 o'clock meridian position. Mydriatic agent and viscoelastic material are introduced. Anterior chamber of the lens is accessed, nucleus hydrodissection is performed and the nucleus is removed. Intraocular lens is implanted. Aspiration and irrigation nozzle is introduced through surgical incision and corneal paracentesis. Rarefaction suction of the anterior chamber angle and trabecular zone is carried out under gonioscopic control. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; avoided excessive cicatrix formation. 4 dwg
