FIELD: filter media and filters on their bases for liquid fuels. SUBSTANCE: filter medium has at least one porous layer of titanium-base component and at least one layer of copper-base component having normal electrode potential higher than that with titanium. To impart activity to filters for activation of fuel supplied for combustion, electronic conductivity is inferred to all material components and, respectively, to parts of active zone of filter, and their layers are isolated in space, and only partially surfaces are introduced into galvanic contact. In this case, layer of copper-base component is also made porous and has average medium pore size and total porosity larger than average pore size and total porosity in layer of titanium-base component.
