FIELD: mechanical engineering internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of fuel for internal combustion engines, particularly, for production of additives used in motor fuels to decrease fuel consumption and toxicity of exhaust gases. Proposed versatile fuel additive includes copper, zirconium and aluminium compositions. Additive contains also tin, molybdenum, zinc, nickel, sodium tungstate, sodium vanadate, potassium sodium acid, dithizone, silver and aluminium molybdate as aluminium composition at the following ratio of components, mas.%: tin, 11.8-19.2; molybdenum, 12.0-13.0; zinc, 10.5-13.0; nickel, 6.0-7.0; aluminium molybdate, 0.7-1.5; sodium tungstate, 0.5-1.3; sodium vanadate, 0.5-1.3; potassium sodium acid, 0.4-1.2; dithizone, 0.4-1.0; silver, 0.3-0.8; zirconium, 0.2-0.7 and copper, the balance.
