COMPLEX FOR TRIMMING CASTINGS SUCH AS PARTS OF CYLINDER UNITS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: foundry, possibly abrasive trimming of castings such as parts of cylinder units. SUBSTANCE: complex includes working machine tools. Each machine tool includes housing supporting grinding heads with grinding discs, guiding cleats being parts of mechanism for feeding casting and pneumatic cylinder. Each machine tool also includes safety cleat. In each machine tool positions of charging and discharging casting are coincided and they form united "charging-discharging" position turned to working place of operator. There is plate supporting attachment for mounting trimmed casting in each machine tool. Said plate is joined by means of bracket mounted in it with rod of pneumatic cylinder and it may perform reciprocation motion along guiding cleats by preset value from charging-discharging position until geometry center of grinding discs. Inner diameter of discs exceeds embraced diameter of casting. Safety cleat is rigidly secured to casing with gap between said cleat and trimmed casting. EFFECT: simplified design providing enhanced efficiency and comfortable maintenance. 3 dwg
