LAMINATED MATERIAL USED AS A FASTENER LOOP COMPONENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2196047 C2

FIELD: the group of invention concerns the composite materials that can find application as a material passing air and serving as a barrier for liquid, mainly as a component of the hook-loop fastener, type "Velkro", used from fasteners for boots to the gloves for golf and in many other fields, where an unsteady joint is required. SUBSTANCE: composite material contains unwoven material preliminarily provided with ties and having a pattern of ties separated from one another with untied fibers or strands between the mentioned ties, film tied with the unwoven material in places containing ties of laminated material separated from one another making up a pattern, which differs from the pattern of ties of unwoven material of ties separated from one another. The film is not tied with the unwoven material in another way, the unwoven material contains ties in the field which, in essence, is not tied with the mentioned film. The method for manufacture of unwoven material provided with preliminarily made ties and having a pattern of ties separated from one another, with united fibers or strands between the ties, manufacture of film passing air, application of a layer of amorphous polymer between the unwoven material and the film and connecting of the material, layers of polymer and film, at which the material gets connected to the film with formation of a pattern of ties separated from one another, differing from the material pattern, and which covers less than 30% of the surface area. The mentioned composite material contains an article of a personal care. The other article of a personal care contains the mentioned composite material, in which the mentioned ties of laminated material cover less than 30% of the surface area of the laminated material. The mechanical fastener contains hook and loop components, in which the loop component contains composite material mentioned in the last article of a personal care. The other fastener of the same type contains composite material described above, in which the ties separated from one another cover from about 5% to about 30% of the surface area of the unwoven material provided with preliminarily produced ties, and the frequency of arrangement of ties is within 50 to 200 per sq. inch (7.8-31 per sq.cm). EFFECT: enhanced comfort and protective properties of articles, facilitated adjustment of articles. 24 cl, 6 dwg, 2 ex
