FIELD: hydrogen peroxide production. SUBSTANCE: working solution for preparation of hydrogen peroxide containing at least one anthraquinone derivative and at least one degradation product thereof formed during consecutive reduction- oxidation process is brought into contact with extruded alumina. The latter includes at least one compound from the group of alkali, alkali-earth, and rare-earth elements in amounts at least 15 mmole per 100 g alumina. Alumina has total pore volume at least 0.25 ml/g, specific surface at least 10 sq.m/g, and granule size not exceeding 5 mm. EFFECT: enhanced ability of alumina to regenerate anthraquinone degradation products (conversion degree higher than 33%) and preserved this ability in the course of great number of regeneration cycles. 7 cl, 1 tbl
