FIELD: petroleum processing. SUBSTANCE: isolation of organosulfur compounds is conducted on adsorbent in centrifugal field by way of their common rotation in rotor of centrifuge, said adsorbent being foam-rubber, whose amount is chosen in dependence on internal pore volume value. These pores provide sorption of 1/5 to 1/6 part of the total volume of initial petroleum or petroleum product. Such technical solution allows process efficiency to be increased owing to considerably reduced amount of adsorbents. Use of foamrubber favors adsorption of organosulfur compounds in the form of concentrate with 5-8 wt % total sulfur corresponding to 65-70% isolated total sulfur.
