METHOD OF STABILIZING BOTTOM-HOLE FORMATION ZONE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: equipment and technology of well workover, particularly, methods of fluid filtration from producing formations of gas wells. SUBSTANCE: method includes lowering of tubings; preparation of filter media in the form of sand mixture; injection of filter media through tubing under pressure into formation through perforations of casing string; covering in one layer of perforated part of casing string with mixture of sand with particles of the same size; injection of sand for making of subsequent layers in casing string. Size of sand fraction is increased successively for each next layer. Number of layers after the first one and sand fraction particles size in each layer are determined by results of granulometric analysis of core material of formation rocks. Sand fraction size in the first layer is not less than 5 and in the last layer not above 120 average diameters of particles - components of formation rock. EFFECT: higher quality of bottom-hole formation zone stabilization due to increased stability and improvement of filtration properties of filter media. 1 dwg, 1 ex
