FIELD: oil refining industry, particularly, isolation of oil formation and oil well killing; applicable in development of oil deposits at any stage of operation. SUBSTANCE: emulsion contains the following ratio of components, wt. %: liquid hydrocarbon, 36-57; emulsifier, 2-6; electrolyte, 5-20; thickener-stabilizer, 0.2-0.1; water, the balance. Thickener-stabilizer is used in the form of polymer of polyacrylamide class or cellulose ether. Electrolyte is used as chlorides of alkali or alkaline-earth metals. EFFECT: improved process parameters of emulsion. 3 cl, 1 tbl
