FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: grain harvesting hitch unit has hitched unpowered combine and power-consuming tractor, which are coupled with their rear sides through hitch. Tractor has collapsible frame. Remote control device is mounted on hitch for controlling tractor from combine cabin to provide for automatic alignment of combine and tractor rear parts. Combine front wheels are controlled and rear wheels are made of wind vane type. During harvesting of cereals combine is pushed by reversing tractor. To move grain harvesting combine hitch unit to transport position, combiner moves to tractor's cabin to provide for forward movement of tractor. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved maneuverability and simplified transition from operating position to transport position. 3 dwg
