FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: agricultural harvesting unit comprises a power- producing mechanism with a complex of modular harvesting machines coupled thereto. Harvesting machines have a replaceable receiving portion installed in front of the power-producing mechanism, a replaceable trailing harvesting unit or a transport conveyor and replaceable transport units positioned between receiving and trailing units. The transport units of harvesting machines pass along the longitudinal axis of the machine under the frame and between parts of the running gear of the conveyor power mechanism which are optionally provided with a hook at the rear for coupling the trailing unit. When the harvesting machine is coupled with the power-producing mechanism, the discharge side of the conveyor is positioned above its inlet side and the inlet side of the coupled unit while the width of the conveyor discharge side is smaller than that of the inlet side of the coupled unit. EFFECT: wider employment of straight-flow harvesting of agricultural crops with engineless combine harvesters. 8 cl, 16 dwg
