FIELD: candle manufacture. SUBSTANCE: reusable candle has cup filled with candle material and wick fabricated from cotton yarn combined with asbestos cord. Wick is enclosed in thin-wall metal coupling of increased heat conductivity. Coupling has lower perforated portion forming fine-mesh net and non-perforated middle portion. Upper portion of coupling is made widened and is adapted for enclosing burning part of wick. Wick with coupling is retained in vertical position by means of cover provided with central opening sized in conformance with coupling outer diameter. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 11 cl, 3 dwg
