FIELD: liquid fuel wick burners using capillary effect. SUBSTANCE: heating appliance has housing 1 in form of protective decorative casing which holds the following units: grid 18, fuel tank 11 with accumulating unit 5 connected with wick burner 7 by means of pipe lines 8 and 9; it is provided with feed unit 6 having adjusting member 10. Burner 7 is made in form of hollow circular cup with two coaxial perforated sleeves 14 15 mounted on it; sleeves 14 and 15 are arranged inside protective cap 16 closed with screen 17; wick 27 having closed generatrix is located in cup. Side walls of wick burner 7 follow shape of wick 27. Open end of respective wall of cup is bent aside horizontally: outer end is bent outside and inner end is bent inside forming vertical edge on each wall and flat 13 for placing perforated sleeve 14 and 15.
