FIELD: gas equipment; mixing gas air heaters used for heating various rooms. SUBSTANCE: mixing gas air heater has housing with fan and burner located inside it; air swirler is fitted in end surface of burner on side of fan; said swirler is made in form of circular row of blades; confuser is located inside burner body and disk whose diameter is equal to diameter of confuser hole is mounted after confuser; distance between confuser and disk is equal to diameter of disk; burner body is provided with holes between confuser and disk with plates mounted above them; they are inclined towards generatrix of cylindrical body of burner in longitudinal and cross sections. Such construction of air heater enhances its operational efficiency due to increase of length of discharge of jet of heated air; burner is additionally provided with afterburning chamber is addition to main combustion chamber, thus reducing content of CO and NO_x in combustion products.
