FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: rocket stage joint is a telescope joint of the of the zero and sustainer stages with fixing members with formation of a separation space for separation under the action of pressure. The joint is provided with a gas-dynamic compensator in the form of two telescope-joined bushings forming an additional space communicating with the separation space through a feed opening, whose diameter is selected from the condition of an excess of the pressure-rise time in the additional space to the undocking pressure over the time required for starting of the zero stage. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation of the rocket stage joint. 1 dwg
