FIELD: intensification of silver image on radiographic materials by means of bleaching. SUBSTANCE: procedure dealing with intensification of silver image on radiographic materials includes their bleaching in solution containing sodium or potassium chloride or bromide, potassium hexacyanoferrat (III), anhydrous potassium or sodium hydroxide and water sodium trioxocarbonate with subsequent processing in reducing solution containing tin chloride (II) dehydrate, N,N,N′,N′- sodium ethylendiaminotetraacetate, potassium or sodium hydroxide, 1,2-ethylenediamine (50% aqueous solution), potassium tiocyanate and water. As result of utilization of proposed procedure photographic sensitivity S0.85 rises by 15-20% with keeping values of gamma and level of fog practically invariable as well as degree of uniformity of generated image by values of optical density. EFFECT: raised photographic sensitivity. 2 tbl
