FIELD: gas- turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed method provides for reducing tendency of flame tongue to stabilize in mixing zone of tangential-inlet fuel injector and for mixing air and fuel in mixing zone of fuel injector. First fuel-air mixture produced in the process is separated from combustion products due to maintaining rather high axial displacement speeds through mixing zone and using combination of second channel in central part (whereto fuel is fed or not) and surfaces of combustion- chamber inlet hole. EFFECT: enhanced service life of injectors implementing this method. 4 cl, 3 dwg
