FIELD: medicine, operative gynecology. SUBSTANCE: quadrangular fragment of vaginal mucosa is removed. Moreover, fragment's superior angle is 1.5-2.0 cm below external urethral opening, lateral angles are situated at the middle level of small pudendal lips, inferior angle is at the border level of vestibule of vagina and perineum. Vaginal cupola is descended due to successive applying circular sutures. Then buried sutures are applied onto muscles and fasciae of pelvic bottom. Vaginal mucosal edges of quadrangle's superior sides should be connected by catgut sutures. The method enables to prevent relapses of vaginal prolapse.
