SUBSTANCE: magnesium-based alloy contains Al, Zn, Mn and admixtures; it additionally contains Cd, Ca, Zr and Ti at reduced amount of admixtures at the following ratio of components, mas.%: Al, 7.3-8.7; Zn, 0.4-1.0; Mn, 0.18-0.7; Cd, 0.2-0.4; Ca, 0.04-0.2; Ti, 0.004-0.007; Zr, 0.003-0.004. Admixture not exceeding: Fe, 0.004; Si, 0.03; Ni, 0.001; Cu, 0.02; Mg, the balance. Said alloy has improved mechanical properties, enhanced corrosion resistance and purity; articles manufactured from this alloy demonstrate good mechanical properties.
