FIELD: nonferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermally nonstrengthenable, weldable, wrought, and corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy belonging to aluminium-magnesium- scandium system designed to work as construction material for objects of special destination, in which members of parts are operated at temperatures up to -196 C. Alloy is composed of (in wt %): magnesium, 1.8-2.6; manganese, 0.2-0.6; zirconium, 0.05-0.015; beryllium, 0.0002-0.005; scandium, 0.1-0.19; hydrogen, 0.0179774-0.35948; aluminium, the balance.
