FIELD: mechanical engineering; gas turbine engines. SUBSTANCE: system is designed to control fuel rate of gas turbine engine. Metering spool is provided with direct drive from electromechanical converter with additional level on shaft. Standby hydromechanical control elements include hydraulic retarder piston to follow up position of engine control lever and additional piston, both pistons are pressed to lever on converter shaft at presence of fuel pressure in their command spaces and are released by springs. Command spaces of hydraulic redarder piston and additional piston are connected by channels with restrictor packs with outlet of constant pressure value through hydromechanical standby control electromagnetic cutoff valve.
