FIELD: refrigerating engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of operation of compression refrigerating machine consists in compression of refrigerant at intermediate cooling, cooling in heat exchanger-cooler followed by cooling in intermediate heat exchanger to temperature below critical point, isothermal compression pressure above condensation pressure, throttling, evaporation and preheating. Isothermal compression is ensured by preheating vapor from evaporator. After preheating, vapor is admitted for compression through intermediate heat exchanger. Compression refrigerating machine includes compressors with intermediate cooler mounted in succession in closed circuit, heat exchanger-cooler, intermediate heat exchanger, heat exchanger, throttle valve and evaporator. Heat exchanger is connected at inlet with evaporator by vapor main and at outlet it is connected with intermediate heat exchanger. Liquid cavity of heat exchanger is connected at inlet with liquid cavity of intermediate heat exchanger and at outlet it is connected with throttle valve.
