FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing growth from seedlings prior to planting and leaving only lateral branch at height of supposed body of tree, with this branch being placed onto wire trellis and attached thereto in the future; removing trellis upon rooting; planting seedlings in two parallel closely arranged trenches (in case of trenching method) with common ridge along marked row; providing alternating inclination of seedlings to different row spacings in dense row pattern so that root neck of each seedling is positioned 3-5 cm below ridge; forming "light corridor" between adjacent trees in row by inclining only bodies of trees, with central conductor and the entire crown being shaped in vertical plane. In case seedlings are planted in accordance with trenching method, ditches are dug in offset relation to both sides of row axis for distance equal to 1/2 of their diameter. Seedlings are planted by applying root neck to ditch edge close to row axis. EFFECT: improved radiation conditions for tree crowns, increased stability and productivity. 3 cl, 6 dwg
