FIELD: sorting of letters. SUBSTANCE: proposed device can be used for turning over of bank notes, sorting of letters and continuous machining of sheet materials which should not be exposed to mechanical loads. Device consists of transporting members moving in forward and reverse directions relative to initial direction of movement of sheet material and forming a clearance into which sheet material is directed. Device contains also guide members arranged in zone of said transporting members. Guide member designed for transporting member moving in reverse direction is set into motion by slave mechanism turn over sheet material in clearance between transporting members and press it to transporting member moving in reverse direction to make it move reverse direction i.e. with its rear moving forward. EFFECT: continuous machining of sheet material at low cost. 11 cl, 4 dwg
