FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has no sharp points or protrusions on its end concentrating pressure to blood vessel wall when dilating the stent in curved blood vessel segment and another stent having radial force on its distal end greater than the radial force in the stent portion adjacent to the distal end. The device optionally has end portion provided with higher strength to radial loading than that in the remaining length part along the stent axis. Alternating version of stent design involves having sections adjacent to stent end having higher flexibility to bending than the remaining length part along the stent axis. The device is optionally manufacturable so that its end has higher strength to radial loading and adjacent sections are more flexible when bending. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of traumatic complications. 50 cl, 11 dwg
