SPIRAL HYBRID STENT Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61F2/88 A61F2/91

Abstract RU 2683206 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical technology, namely to stents, which are intraluminal endoprosthesis devices implanted in body vessels, for example blood vessels, for maintaining and keeping vessels open and for fixing and maintaining other endoprostheses in vessels, and methods for their manufacture. Stent comprises a helical main stent component, having a single lateral edge that contains irregularities and forms helical coils; and the mount connecting the coils of the main stent component, the main stent component being integrated into the mount. Method for creating the above stent comprises the steps of: a) forming the main stent component, and the spiral coils of the specified main stent component are located along the longitudinal axis; and b) using a mount. According to the first embodiment, the main stent component comprises a single strip having spiral coils containing a first lateral edge having irregularities; and a second side edge containing irregularities and connected to the first side edge to form a single row of cells; in which the first end edge containing the irregularities, the first and second edges, wherein the first end edge is connected to the first side edge and extends at an oblique angle thereto; and each spiral turn of the strip is not connected with the adjacent spiral turn located in the longitudinal direction with the formation of open spaces between adjacent turns. In accordance with the second embodiment, the main stent component comprises a single strip having spiral turns comprising a side edge having irregularities, and in which the first end edge having irregularities, the first and second edges, wherein the first end edge is connected to the side edge and extends at an oblique angle thereto; and a second end edge having irregularities, the first and second edges, the second end edge being connected to the side edge and extending at an oblique angle thereto; wherein each spiral turn of the strip is not connected with the adjacent spiral turn located in the longitudinal direction with the formation of open gaps between adjacent turns. In accordance with the third embodiment of the main stent component, said side edge and end edge have a wave-like contour of the struts connected by brackets, with at least one strut containing a cellular structure, and the width of these brackets is less than the width of the specified at least one spacer containing a cellular structure. Method for producing a stent from one of the above main stent components comprises the steps according of: a) spiral twisting of the main stent component along the longitudinal axis and b) tight closing of the first edge of the first end edge to the second edge of the first end edge to form a cylinder.

EFFECT: stent has good radial strength and a high degree of longitudinal flexibility, and its manufacturing process is simple and low-cost without increasing manufacturing defects.
