FIELD: plastic metal working, namely manufacture of bodies of ships, crafts and other complex-shape constructions. SUBSTANCE: method for shaping sheet parts comprises steps of applying bending loads along curvature lines in such a way that bending or deforming effort value is proportional to curvature of bending sheet blank under load; applying bending loads beginning from blank angle and at first bending portions with gentle curvature and then sharply bent angles; shaping parts of ordinary curvature with larger bending or effort on edges of blank; several times applying bending loads along bending line from one end of blank until its another end. In order to perform shaping of cone sheet part, bending loads are applied beginning from blank edge with less curvature radius of cone. In order to perform shaping of sail-like part, bending value or bending effort is increased and it is decreased for shaping saddle-like parts along bending line from edge of blank until point of maximum bending along that bending line. Bending loads are applied stepwise at constant bending value or bending effort on surface areas of sheet part. In each surface area change of residual curvature radius is limited by preset value. Distance between bending lines is selected equal to 0.2 - 0.4 of distance between supports. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, improved quality of bent parts, lowered metal consumption of process due to regulating tracks of bending loads, their sequence and values. 10 cl, 9 dwg
