FIELD: artillery armament. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in the fact that at an engagement of a shaped-charge ammunition with the target the shaped jet pierces a through channel in the armor, through which a pestle following the jet to the after-amour space destructs the objects positioned there. To increase the pestle speed, the explosive charge of the shaped-charge ammunition is equipped with a hydrodynamic booster in the form of a metal truncated tapered funnel resting with its larger base against the foundation of the charge facing and made of a material with an acoustic stiffness of not lower than that of the facing material, and a ring insert of material with a high acoustic stiffness is installed on the inner surface of the ammunition body near the foundation of cumulative recess. Use is made of cascade shaped-charge ammunition consisting at least of two axially symmetric cascades successively positioned in the body, each of them has three sections, in particular: an explosive charge with a cumulative recess and facing with a hydrodynamic booster and a ring insert, pestle shutoff device or a low-speed section of the shaped jet in the form of an explosive charge with a through channel in the form of a truncated cone with a metal facing, with its larger base facing towards the cumulative recess of the explosive charge, and a transfer unit in the form of a thin-walled ring explosive charge with a protective screen installed between the explosive charge and the shutoff device for transmission of detonation from the explosive charge to the shutoff device. The explosive charges of all the cascades, but the last one, are made with central ducts for passage of the shaped jet formed by the previous cascades. The explosive charge of the rear cascade is provided with a fuse. The shaped-charge ammunition may be made with a front cascade consisting only of one section- an explosive charge with a hydrodynamic booster and a ring insert, or with a rear cascade consisting of two sections - an explosive charge with a hydrodynamic booster and a ring insert and combined functionally into one section of the shutoff device and transfer unit. The metal facings of the cumulative recesses of explosive charges are manufactured of various materials at a successive increase of the density of the materials, beginning from the rear cascade. Positioned in the space of the transfer unit may be the control compartment or the sustainer engine with a central through duct. EFFECT: enhanced destructive action of the ammunition in the target after-amour space due to introduction of the destructive element-pestle containing up to 80% of the material of the cumulative facing. 17 cl, 5 dwg
