FIELD: monitoring and diagnosing automatic control systems and their components. SUBSTANCE: method depends on using reduced number of dynamic characteristics in the form of estimates of dynamic system transfer functions obtained by integral transformation of system signals. Trouble is located by using one of test actions and single value of structural sensitivity coefficient instead of a number of them for different frequencies, as it was in prior art.
