FIELD: tests and diagnostics of automatic control systems. SUBSTANCE: method consists in that system made of m dynamic elements connected at will is considered as object of diagnostics. Test time Ttest ≥ Tt.p., where Tt.p. is time of transient process of object is found beforehand. Sensitivity model (t) of time characteristics of object in various test points to change of time characteristics of i-th dynamic element is set in the form of series connection of two similar standard models of object via strap linking input of i-th element in first standard model with output of i-th element in second standard model. Integral measure is employed in the capacity of dynamic criterion of i-th dynamic element. With this in mind test signal is fed at same time to object and first standard model. Operations determining diagnostic symptoms are repeated for each dynamic element. EFFECT: reduced time and hardware expenses, simplified process of diagnostics and widened functional capabilities of method. 16 dwg
