POSITION INDICATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: indication of position of electric motor drive of stepped switch, coil with plunger or selector. SUBSTANCE: position indicator has circular scale that carries symbols corresponding to individual steps of switching which are executed when electric motor drive is switched over from one operation position to another. First pointer on the first scale is turned through 360 deg with each switching. There is another circular scale which carries other symbols corresponding to individual possible operation positions of stepped switch. Pointer of second scale turns through angle corresponding to distance between two adjacent symbols on second scale with switching over. Two control pointers are installed on both sides of second pointer, one of these control pointers is entrained in rotation depending of direction of rotation of second pointer. Actually both control pointers show adjustment range covered by position indicator. EFFECT: generation of additional information and easy reading of position of indicator. 1 cl, 2 dwg
