FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transformers with stepped adjustment of voltage having cast resin in the capacity of insulating material. Stepped switch is composed of single-phase identical modules which have all necessary elements switching over load and own frame. Modules of stepped switch are interconnected via driving shaft with motor drive. Each module can be placed without connecting wires on taps of winding. Fixing members are arranged in definite geometrical order. Modules also include electric elements which have internal electric communication with commutated stepped contacts or themselves proper go inside through socket in case and themselves turn to be commutated stepped contacts.
