FIELD: hydroacoustics; measuring noise emission parameters of surface and subsurface water craft. SUBSTANCE: system has equipment carrier made in the form of float with hollow cowl, both accommodating equipment container and broadband hydrophone, respectively. It also has equipment carrier hoisting device in the form of remote-control winch with drum and anchor weight joined by means of cable through winch drum with equipment carrier base, as well as line providing communication of equipment carrier and hoist with surface processing, recording, and control facilities. Float and cowl are made of sound-transmitting material; cowl inner space is filled with water and equipment container is spaced from hydrophone at distance equal to at least its three transverse dimensions. Communication line and cable are integrated into cable communication line; total mass of equipment carrier is minimum ten times greater than that of communication-line cable section between anchor weight and equipment carrier base; center of gravity, metacenter, and cable communication line entrance in equipment carrier are disposed on axis of the latter so that center of gravity occurs between metacenter and cable-line entrance in equipment carrier. Float of the latter is made in the form of positive-buoyancy rings coming in contact through their flat base, density of their material being not over 0.7 kg/cu. m; equipment container is mounted in central part of rings.
