FIELD: agriculture, in particular, selection. SUBSTANCE: method involves growing plants of sort samples; infecting plants with Fusarium inoculum; providing visual evaluation of affected ears and determining content of desoxynivalenol in milk-wax maturity grain and in full maturity grain, with following evaluation of desoxynivalenol accumulation dynamics of sorts sensitive to fusariose and those resistant to fusariose; additionally determining content of desoxynivalenol in ear shell as well content of zearalinone in grain and in ear shell at the same maturity stage. Resistance of sort is determined on the basis of positive or zero detoxication values. Zero detoxication value is established by fusariotoxin content differences in grain and ear shell at milk-wax and full maturity stages. EFFECT: increased precision in evaluating resistance of wheat to ear fusariose. 1 tbl
