METHOD FOR FORMING MAGNETIC THERAPY TREATMENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2200036 C2

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves sending electric signals as binary pulse sequences of controllable frequency, pulse period-to-pulse duration ratio and amplitude into system having n inductor units during prescribed time interval. The n inductor units are arranged allover the patient body to create general magnetotherapeutic medium. Before beginning the treatment, initial electric signal parameter values are assigned to determine initial magnetotherapeutic medium parameter values taking into account priory disease information. Then, basic functional and physiological values are retrieved in computer database describing normal state to which it is necessary to approach within the framework of the given disease. Real patient state values are measured and saved in memory as initial values. The values are measured within every treatment session to make comparison to the normal state values, initial values and values received in previous sessions. Deviations are calculated to build control actions by processing their signs and values with computer software. The control actions vary electric signal parameters determining the magnetotherapeutic medium following the real functional and physiological values to approach the normal state values. Function ϕ(yij0

, yijn
) is defined to control magnetotherapy action, where yij0
- is the initial basic functional and physiological value vector describing i-th patient subjected to j-th treatment version; yijn
is vector of basic functional and physiological values describing the patient in normal state after applying the treatment in the case of given disease. The value assumed by function αij = ϕ(yij0
,yijn
) is used as efficiency measure when treating the i-th patient with j-th treatment method. Then current state parameters dependence of the patient is determined as yijk
= ψj(yij0
,bjk
), where ψj() is the vector function of given structure; bjk
= yijk
-yijk-1
is the patient values increment vector at the k-th step of algorithm, the bjk
= bk(xj) vector being functionally relative to magnetotherapeutic medium parameters xj, which values are determined by applying minimum square sum to find functional minimum, where K is the number of procedure steps during treatment session. When violating the preset permissible values of patient parameter deviations bj, signal is formed to cancel magnetic action. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 2 cl, 1 dwg
