FIELD: petroleum industry, heat engineering, food-processing industry etc. SUBSTANCE: deaeration unit has degasser made in the form of vortex device having outlet part formed as converging tube, which is gradually converted into diffuser in the direction of water flow. Degasser has water supply branch pipe, water discharge branch pipe and gas discharge branch pipe. Unit has pumping out plant for creating vacuum in degasser and water pump. Additional vortex device may be mounted at degasser inlet end. Additional pump may be mounted between degasser and pump, and inlet end of additional pump may be connected through recirculation pipe to inlet end of additional vortex device. EFFECT: increased efficiency in converting water kinetic energy into pressure energy and, accordingly, reduced power consumed by pump. 3 cl, 1 dwg
