FIELD: deep water purification equipment. SUBSTANCE: reactor has open corridor-type reservoir divided by transverse partitions into chambers, basic water inlet pipe and treated water outlet pipe, filtering blocks, aerators located in each chamber under filtering blocks and at opposite reservoir walls in aeration sections. Filtering blocks arranged at aeration section and filtration section boundary line are equipped with side surface facing toward aeration section and composed of rigid bristle brushes or lines arranged at pitch 10% smaller than diameter of rigid bristle brush. All filtering blocks are provided with central tube extending through the entire height of block and with two hooks positioned on block upper face and adapted for holding of filtering blocks. Rails for moving beams with cables and hooks are secured to opposite partitions along reactor corridors. Reactor is designed for removal of suspended substances and solved organic and mineral contaminants from natural and sewage water by biological adsorption and adhesion processes and may be used in municipal management and in industrial enterprises. EFFECT: improved reactor operation process, reduced metal usage, wider range of employment of reactor without use of microorganisms. 2 cl, 3 dwg
