FIELD: biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has multistaged bioreactors. First section of bioreactors of first stage is made in the form of two-corridor aeration tank with free floating active silt. Aeration tank corridor is longitudinally divided into at least 5-6 chambers by unsealed transverse partition walls. Chamber at sewage inlet end of first corridor of aeration tank is equipped with water discharge metering devices and at sewage outlet end of second corridor with pulsed silt separators. Each chamber is provided with galvanocoagulator arranged in front of bioreactor stages operating with hydrobionts immobilized on fibrous head. Galvanocoagulator has anode made in the form of iron chips and copper or graphite cathodes and is located in flow of purified sewage water guiding it into second stage of bioreactors. Pipeline with sewage water clarified from active silt of first stage of bioreactors connects slit separator with galvanocoagulator of chamber through water discharge and metering device. Head made from fibrous polymeric members is attached on caprone ropes fixed within corridors of sections and chambers by means of spacers defined by plastic pipes or other profiled members having increased compressive resistance. Apparatus is used for purifying domestic sewage water or water having similar content. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified maintenance, improved mass-exchange processes and useful arrangement of separate units of purifying apparatus. 3 cl, 10 dwg, 1 tbl
